Using Custom CSS

Using the Custom CSS feature on WordPress is a little bit tricky. There are two parts to the process:

  1. Define the CSS class
  2. place the CSS class in the advanced field on the post or page.

Classes are defined in the Appearance Customization area, by creating classes in the “Additional CSS” module.

On an edit screen for a page or post, in the block properties under “Advanced”, the name of the class (with no dot or definition) can be entered. The class will be applied to the current element.

One must wonder about the squirrel. Is he just an animal, or is he something else? And who do we ask when we want to see the squirrel? Is he capable of providing permission on his own behalf, or would we be taking advantage of him?
